DRUMCLIFF

At the foot of Ben Bulben stands the village of Drumclif where the poet W.B.Yeats is buried. Yeats asked to be buried in the cemetery of this Protestant church where his grandfather had been rector from 1811 to 1846. Yeats died in France in 1939.
